Darwin: laksa, little things and a sunset

Darwin was a change of pace after Litchfield: market laksa, some museum wandering, time in the gardens and another very good sunset.
Shan's bowl of laksa was nearly as colourful as her shirt. It made a satisfying start to a set of city stops, with a little less scrambling over rocks involved than the previous parks.
The museum's insect display was a reminder that small things can supply just as much colour as a big landscape. Shiny beetles, butterflies and dragonflies held our attention, followed by a beautifully painted boat with a sail that almost filled the photograph.
Our little home on wheels was parked among the trees, so even this city pause retained a bit of camp life. In the gardens, Shan's pink floral shirt gave the foliage some serious competition. The lilies were also keeping up their end of the display.
The sunset gets the first photo this time. There was very little argument to be made against that sky.
