Ellendale Pool, and a stop in Dongara

Ellendale Pool was a lovely find inland from Geraldton. At sunset, the rock face picked up warm colour and reflected it back across the water, with the trees making dark shapes around the edges.
The photos also include a stop at Dongara and its enormous crayfish. Andy had never visited before, but knew the name very well from a meeting room at an old workplace. The real place had considerably better scenery.
A wind turbine and one of its blades supplied another useful change of scale along the way. From a distance they can seem quite ordinary; beside a blade on the ground, less so.
A few different roadside interests, with Ellendale's evening colours the standout.
